Service Delivery Lead Times Update

As a result of unprecedented workloads generated by the NBN across the entire Telecommunications industry, we are experiencing delays in service delivery from our suppliers. These delays are affecting the installation time frames for business grade data and voice services.

We have created an article in our Help Centre to provide up-to-date estimated lead-times for a variety of service orders.

How does this impact you?

If you are planning to move office, upgrade your data service or migrate your voice services to SIP, you may experience longer than usual lead times for these services to be delivered. Delays can lead to new office locations not being ready for use or IT projects being delayed. Standard provisioning times for business grade data and voice services typically require 8-12 weeks from order placement, recently in some cases we have experienced timeframes increase by up to 50%.

What can you do to avoid impact?

  • Prepare early - While the delays are difficult to avoid, please allow extra time in your planning associated with any changes to your voice or data services.
  • Talk to your Account Manager – Your account manager is a valuable resource when planning changes to your voice and data services. They will be able to provide advice on the best way to avoid business-impacting delays
  • Have a contingency plan – Take careful consideration of the impact on your business if delays occur and, where possible, create a plan to minimise any potential business disruption.

Our team are passionate about delivering outcomes to your business and will do everything in our power to assist in the timely delivery of services.  If you have any questions about delivery timeframes, please contact your Account Manager so they can assist your planning.
