How do I Read the Coverage Map?

  1. Visit the map: Head to optus.com.au/coverage

  2. Search your address: Type your street, suburb, or postcode to zoom into your area.

  3. Check the legend:

    • 🟣 Dark Purple – 5G coverage

    • 🔮 Light Purple – 4G Plus coverage

    • 💛 Yellow – 3G coverage (note: 3G is being phased out across Australia)

  4. Switch between networks: Toggle between 5G, 4G, or 3G at the top of the map.

  5. Zoom in: Get street-level detail to see coverage at your home, workplace, or favourite spots.

💡 Tip: If you’re in a fringe area or inside a building, signal strength can vary. The map can show you indoor vs. outdoor performance for a more accurate view.
